Pit Stop

I'm in the pit.

Playing the piano helps.

God helps.

Doing the chores helps.

In the pit, God shows me Himself. This morning, He showed me in the form of Jamie, Paula, Dana, Amber, Jill, Kimberley, and Jeana.

And it's only lunchtime. I wonder what He will pour out this afternoon. There is always mercy in equal and greater measure to the pit. It's as if when I'm in the pit, He fills it up with mercy so instead of being at the bottom of it, I'm floating on top. Floating on mercy.

"But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed."
~Isaiah 53:5
