Once upon a time, there was a little boy named Jeff. For his very first Christmas, way back in 1975, he received many wonderful toys, including a Fisher Price "My Friend Doll" named Joey, pictured here seated to Jeff's left.
Jeff gave Joey all the respect and honor every boy gives a true pal.
Then one day, Jeff grew up, got married, and had a son named James.
James inherited Joey. They had many wonderful adventures together during James's childhood.
Including a trip to England to show Robert Pattinson how to style his hair.
James gave Joey all the respect and honor every boy gives a true pal.
Then one day, James turned 10.
And decided to share Joey with his little brother, Jonathan.
Jonathan beheld the bedraggled state of beloved Joey, tilted his head to one side, and said, "I know just what to do."
He brought him to Dr. Mom, who agreed to keep Joey's arms from falling off. She was forbidden, however, from any other repairs, because, "No, Mom. Those parts make Joey special."
Dr. Mom was able to convince Jonathan to let Joey get his shoes shined.
And his hands and face washed.
Joey felt thankful. (And cleaner.) (And more like Rpatz.)
But mostly, Joey felt loved.
Jonathan plans to give Joey all the respect and honor every boy gives a true pal.
